Hi @bowdenj - apologies, could you ask this differently? i guess i;m just having trouble understanding what the two options are trying to convey.
Feel free to call me: 202-663-1265
We're asking which of the two disaggregates should be used as the primary source for Modality level results. The primary source is tagged with has_modality = Y
.
Option 1 would make ServiceDeliveryPoint
the primary, and ServiceDeliveryPoint/Result
would be tagged with has_modality = With Result
meaning it should only be used if report users want Modality and Result. By default, reports would use ServiceDeliveryPoint
Option 2 would make ServiceDeliveryPoint/Result
the primary, and ServiceDeliveryPoint
would be tagged with has_modality = Without Result
meaning it should only be used if report users specifically want that no-results disagg. By default, reports would use ServiceDeliveryPoint/Result
This question applies only to 2016 results.
For 2017, our plan is to use the MCAD disaggs as the primary source. For 2018 there is no duplication, so no issue.
@shazadahmed10 is this resolved?
@shazadahmed10 Is this resolved or OBE?
Accidentally closed, but may be good to revisit what if anything needs to be done between the MER 2.0 "Service Delivery" modalities and MER 2.1+ current modalities. DAQ Agenda item?
@shazadahmed10 - A question came up from Derek and the Pano team about the CHIPS tool using our new flag structure seen in the MER Structured Datasets.
For 2016, we should not have a Y in "has_modality" for both "ServiceDeliveryPoint/Result" and also "ServiceDeliveryPoint." Which of the below two options would you recommend for 2016 results?
Please let me know if this question doesn't make sense or could be asked differently. FYI @pvinayak001 this is a cross-over from https://github.com/pepfar-datim/Analytics-ETL/issues/56
