Title of Request: Malawi HRH Analysis Expected Completion Date: Dec 7 (first draft shared with PEPFAR Malawi team on Dec 2)

Context: The PEPFAR Malawi team collected HRH site inventory data at the end of FY20. The request from PCO Malawi on behalf of the interagency team, is for ICPI to assist Malawi team with HRH-related data analyses and visualizations for use in Q4 POART, COP21 planning and to support data use and decision-making among country stakeholders.

Status: -First email from PCO Malawi on 11/06/20; Request submitted on 11/12/20 -ICPI Leads reviewed and approved request on 11/16 -Updated dataset submitted on 11/16 by Malawi team (including agency column); here on sharepoint along with analytic questions @sackerman9117 served as the ICPI OU liaison for the request and has completed two calls with country team to resolve outstanding questions

Next Steps: @aagordonaa is ICPI project lead with analytic support from @romabhatkoti ; draft analysis to be submitted to Malawi team on Dec2, with analysis completed by Dec7 -For PEPFAR Malawi Collins Mhango/Masford Banda are the SI POCs while Gillian Nkhalamba/Austin Mazinga are the HRH SME POCs; Steph Hess is the PCO POC for the request.

Request from ICPI to Malawi team: (by Friday 11/20 to avoid delays in meeting deadlines above)

  1. For the inventory on the site level staffing tab, please remove duplicate sites. Sites should be unique and the row should contain the total number of health care workers. This information will be used to estimate HRH_Staff Nat for analysis.
  2. For analytical question 8. please choose one Mer indicator per subquestion (a,b,c) and list the cadres which should be examined for this indicator.
  3. For analytical question 14. please provide information about who changed what and when. Specifically changes to: health care workers, partners, and sites.
  4. Additionally for analytical question 14., please limit the number of indicators to 3.
