We should include a few examples and tutorials in the documentation. sphinx and rtfd can now embed Jupyter notebooks in docs as static pages, so we can use this as a starting point for mixing text, code and graphics. We should aim for one tutorial for each feature, although don't have to have all tutorials completed immediately.
