Dear Sameera FITIS Digital Leadership Luncheon Forum – at Hilton Colombo in February/ March 2020 from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm This is reference to our discussion today.

The Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS) the apex industry association is organizing, FITIS Digital Leadership luncheon Forum to bring together over 100 to 150 Secretaries of Ministries, G-CIOs and Chairmen’s and CEOs of State Own enterprises and key business leaders to explore opportunities to drive business transformation and value through digital innovation in Sri Lanka. This forum has tentatively scheduled for February / March 2020, from 10 am to 2.00 pm at the Colombo Hilton and will contain one Keynote Speaker and three panellists.

We solicit support of ICTA to invite 100 to 150 Secretaries of Ministries, G-CIOs and Chairmen’s and CEOs of State Own enterprises and other key business leaders. Further, we wish to have a panellist from ICTA for the panel discussion.

We also wish to inform you that Ernst & Young Sri Lanka has invited Mr Vikas Aggarwal, Partner, Advisory Services - Ernst & Young LLP India to w ill deliver the keynote address on “Building a Digital Nation”. Proposed Speaker Profile: Vikas Aggarwal

Partner, Advisory Services - Ernst & Young LLP

Vikas leads EY’s charter on Smart Cities Technologies, Digital Infrastructure and Tech for Education; managing engagement with the Government and with technology/telecom companies. Vikas has around 25 years of experience in the fields of Technology Advisory and Technology Solutions & Services focusing on Technology led Transformation, Process Interventions and PPP in Technology. His experience spans across Urban, Rural, Health, Education Public Safety, Telecom, Transport and Energy verticals.

He has led several nationwide and state level Governance Transformation programs, with focus on Optimum Service Delivery, Government Process Engineering, Citizen Centricity and ICT Intervention to bring efficiency, transparency and effectiveness in functioning of the Public Sector. He has led advisory engagements in India, Middle East, Caribbean and ASEAN.

Prior to the current position with EY, Vikas was leading Industry Solutions & Market Development (for the Government, Health and Defence verticals) and Smart City business for Microsoft in India. He led Microsoft’s strategic technology engagement with the Government in India as the National Technology Officer. Vikas has worked in leadership positions with KPMG- where he was leading KPMG’s eGovernance practice and with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Gartner Research and CMC Ltd. in the past.
