We would like to formally express our interest in developing and delivering a full-fledge Unique ID Linked Master Governance Digital Country Platform. This platform delivers Digital Identity Integrated E-Services, Predictive & Corrective Analytics, Early Warning and Internet-of-Things driven national security.
It has been reported that the His Excellency the President has paid attention to create a common National Data Centre to record citizens’ information in regard to National IDs, Driver Licenses, Immigration and Emigration information and registration of births and deaths. This is a timely proposition.
We understand that the country now needs to tap into its inner strengths by developing human capital and enhancing the nation’s services and security infrastructure. Such a broader vision would be achieved only through a comprehensive Master Governance Country Platform which could be configured to cater to the evolving needs of the country while integrating the existing useful fragmented applications onto the Master Governance Platform. Such a platform helps effectively strengthens citizens’ service delivery, enhance essential surveillance and security that stem from the grassroots level and effectively REBRANDING the country in the coming decades.
Further, the World Bank has clearly observed that for sustaining economic growth and development, a country will require to improve its productivity and competitiveness in key sectors by adapting to the digital era (refer document P167588 of the World Bank).
In accordance with the above vision and views, Master Governance Country Platform would at once build an advanced technological infrastructure, the lifeline of any advanced nation, while delivering advanced security & surveillance, along with citizen & business services from across ministries and departments, via a Unique Digital ID.
While such Platform meets the complete and comprehensive requirements of citizens across the life cycle of an individual, it automatically creates a fertile ground for a “smart” unique National Identity Program, wherein an individual’s ID card linked to the associated licenses, certifications and access to program are made available, right from the Birth Certificate, to Scholarship Programs, to Health Records, to Driver License, School Transcripts & Certificates, Degrees & Diplomas, to Passport, State & National Insurance Programs, to Marriage Certificates & Name Changes, to all the way till Death Certificate Issuance. Under such a National ID program, fake IDs and Passports would be things in the past.
When, recent advances in digital technologies such as ‘SMART technologies’, Internet-of-Things, Machine Learning & AI, Smart Recognition, Video Analytics, etc. are incorporated into the Platform to have predictive and corrective analytics, then the country will have an advanced Platform that transforms all services into e-services which services are accessed via a Unique ID, while the same Unique ID will facilitate the Law Enforcement Authorities to have essential vigilance for national security purposes.
