Disclosure of company portfolio and expression of interest to part take in digitizing public services and governance in Sri Lanka
We would like to appreciate the initiative taken by your institution to introduce transparent and open governance by applying appropriate digital technologies for government agencies. We at Trancite24 would like to join in hands to this national priority project by providing digital services related to civil engineering applications.
Trancite24 is an integrated culture to research, innovate and commercialize solutions for multi-disciplinary engineering projects. We are a spin-off company registered under the company’s act, based at the Department of Civil Engineering at University of Moratuwa which holds a larger share of the company. Our main areas of expertise lie along subjects of research, consultancy, system design and data management. Our consultancy and research works extend to a wider area in civil engineering domain covering environmental, transportation, geotechnical and hydraulic disciplines. The main focus of our research work is to understand the fundamental interactions between humans and systems for optimum operation. We develop software and hardware applications for purposes of monitoring, managing and alerting systems based on these interactions.
The expert group at Trancite24 is consist of researchers and consultants representing world top universities such as; Massachusetts Institute of Technology, California Institute of Technology, ETH Zürich, University of Queensland, Monash University, Tokyo Institute of Technology and University of Moratuwa. All these people are alumni of Sri Lankan universities who are experts in cutting edge technologies and systems.
We believe that system requirements of different civil engineering applications vary according to environment and objectives. Ad-hoc adaptation of systems implemented elsewhere, or other countries will lead to compatibility issues in performance. Hence, we at Trancite24 are engaged in researching and designing systems suitable and feasible to Sri Lankan context.
