this version versus the one i get with pip? #250

Hey, I am a bit confused how to install this package, should i build from this repo? or directly install from pip?

the pip fork branch is 14 commits ahead, 17 commits behind,

which is better/more maintained? The pip version is set to 0.4.0 while this here is just 0.1.0 but i feel like this is more maintained? Using pip for installing packages is more convenient for sure, but i just want the best and newest version. When will they be synced? and any input on what branch to use?

All in all, I am confused
