The RapidPro team is currently making a bunch of changes to improve support for WhatsApp templates in RapidPro but something that we need to do to enable those changes, is remove localization of template variables. The template start_started_mod_or_change_goal in the UNICEF Malaysia Parenting (LIVE) workspace is being used that way.
For now nothing will change in the flow that has localization of template parameters. Soon they'll prevent adding new localization for parameters, and within the next month, they'd like to remove existing localization of parameters.
To resolve the issue, we'll need to ask UNICEF Malaysia to create 2 additional whatsapp templates that will replace the current.
