Did you set ADMIN=yes
environment variable before launching the container? RDP runs only in admin-mode.
Yes, I did same. Containers are running as well expected ports are listening. But I cant able to RDP to container.
Upload the container log.
Running headless - RDP disabled
It isn't picking up your ADMIN=yes
. Try ADMIN=yes sudo docker-compose up -d
or export ADMIN=yes
before docker commands.
I executed commands export ADMIN=yes sudo docker-compose up -d
But still I cant able to RDP. Below is logs for container.
Does it still say Running headless - RDP disabled
at the start of container log? Until we solve that you won't be able to connect because RDP doesn't run at all.
That Apache log looks fine, and that's for WebConfig only anyways.
Make sure you fully down
the container after changing compose configuration or setting environment variables.
No, That logs doesn't contains "RDP disabled" like. I completely down the container and export ADMIN=yes, then i run the container. sudo docker-compose up -d
But still i cant able to RDP. I don't know what I missing here.
Upload full log again. I will try with Putty (I am normally on Linux and use Remmina) and get back to you over the weekend.
Sorry, Ignore last comments. Just now i noticed the logs that contains RDP disabled.
I'm using Windows PC with Putty to login
Thank you @jonpas
It looks like your Docker Compose is still not applying ADMIN=yes
environment variable. Maybe sudo
is interfering somehow.
Try to change no
to a yes
directly in the compose file: https://github.com/IDI-Systems/SSProCloud-Docker/blob/e92094f9d5e46fbb995c3ad34b0ece34d16361ec/docker-compose.yml#L15
Let me check and update you.
Perfect. Its working as we expected after changing ADMIN environment variable in docker-compose file. Thanks @jonpas
One more thing, Pro Cloud Server working https (1805) port whereas it can't work with http (1804) port. Even I whitelisted these ports in Server Security group. Port's Listening in Docker Container
Port's Listening in Virtual Machine (AWS EC2)
You must add the port in the compose file as well, like so: https://github.com/IDI-Systems/SSProCloud-Docker/blob/e92094f9d5e46fbb995c3ad34b0ece34d16361ec/docker-compose.yml#L10
Mind, HTTP doesn't support all features as HTTPS does in Pro Cloud (namely Floating License Server), so not everything will work.
Oops. I really didn't noticed this configuration in yaml file.
Everything works @kohlidevops?
Yes. Its working fine. We can close this case. I will reopen or create new case if any issues. Many thanks for your extended support @jonpas
You are welcome!
Hello there, I have cloned this code on Amazon Linux2 and run the docker container using docker-compose. Afterwards, I trying to connect RDP to container using SSH tunnels (Putty). However, its not connected. In putty, SSH to AmazonLinux2 with Port 22 and Tunnels connections like below When i tried to connect RDP, I got below error Am I missing anything?
