I am having issues running Ubuntu in Virtual Box, and was wondering if anyone has had similar issues or knows of a solution.
When originally trying to start the machine as in Step 7 of the posted instructions, I received an error message that I needed to download the extension pack, which I did. However, now I am receiving the following error message
"Not in a hypervisor partition (HVP=0) (VERR_NEM_NOT_AVAILABLE).
VT-x is disabled in the BIOS for all CPU modes (VERR_VMX_MSR_ALL_VMX_DISABLED"
I am still having issues accessing my BIOS and changing my settings. I cannot access my BIOS settings using any of the F keys or the delete button. Additionally, when I attempt to change my systems settings in Virtual Box it says "Invalid Settings Detected".
I am using Windows 10 installed on a 64 bit Lenovo Laptop
try pressing the ESC key while ur system is starting up and follow the instructions on the link mentioned above and try enabling the virtualization configuration. It worked for me.

When I searched the error message it led me to this forum https://askubuntu.com/questions/948171/i-cant-open-any-virtual-machine-on-virtualbox
