Not sure I completely follow what you mean by "risk of inconsistencies". A while ago we thought that we needed to very carefully control the ROSCO versions used in the 15MW simulations, so we intentionally bundled specific versions. I agree that we could move past that at this point in time, since our biggest struggle is keeping consistent with the OpenFAST changes. ROSCO is much easier to manage by comparison.
Do we need to do anything besides Dan's PR?

I think we should remove the ROSCO binaries from https://github.com/IEAWindTask37/IEA-15-240-RWT/tree/master/OpenFAST/IEA-15-240-RWT/ServoData and simply point people to the right ROSCO version. The risk of inconsistencies is too high right now.
