Including the Dublin Core and/or other core metadata elements

In #18, Stephen suggested we incorporate the Dublin Core in the EYA DEF Schema. There may also be other core metadata schemas that are worth considering.

• Review what metadata schema(s) are useful to cover and decide which one(s) to focus on.
• Integrate the relevant metadata fields into the EYA DEF Schema.
• Review how we can link the metadata fields to the core schemas, so that it is clear that a metadata field in our model is using a particular definition from a core metadata schema.
• If possible and relevant, implement the linked schema approach.

We cover the following elements:

• Contributors;
• Spatial coverage (country);
• Date;
• Description;
• Format, subject and type (covered by the EYA DEF schema);
• Identifier (resource UUID and URI, and document ID);
• Publisher (issuing organisations);
• Rights (contract reference and confidentiality classification);
• Source (metadata for inputs); and
• Title.

It is not important to distinguish creators from contributors.

The language will always be English, so is probably not relevant to include.

Related resources are probably not relevant. If there is a good use case to include that, we can do so later.

I close this as there are no concrete actions for now. We can open new issues later if there are concrete proposals to enrich the metadata.
