3 months ago Comex² S-401 WG meeting - 240320: After analysis of the definition of the complex attribute measuredDistanceValue, it is compatible with the current situation where distance marks could be measured but also historical. The complex attribute can be kept in DistanceMark without adding the simple attributes distanceUnitOfMeasurement and waterwayDistance.
In the other features where distanceUnitOfMeasurement and waterwayDistance have to be available, we will use these two simple attribute and not the complex attribute measuredDistanceValue.
The draft version of the S-401 FC needs to be adapted.
A new complex attribute measuredDistanceValue has been introduced in S-101. It is present in S-101 in DistanceMark and contains the following simple attributes:
The conclusion of the previous IEHG meeting was: The meeting decided to keep the inland specific attribute waterway distance, because the new HYDRO complex attribute measuredDistanceValue does not fit for inland waterway distances. The meeting decided however to switch to distanceUnitOfMeasurement.and to add the Inland enumerations there.
How do we proceed: we keep it as it is in DistanceMark to be in line with S-101 and for the other features where we will have wtwdis and hunits in S-401, we only add the two simple attributes waterwayDistance and distanceUnitOfMeasurement (and also in DistanceMark)?
