SORIND/SORDAT #17

In S-101, SORIND is not present anymore. In the registry, the attribute sourceIndication is available and has been used in S-401 for all the Ed2.5 features containing SORIND.

SORDAT is encoded in S-101 with the attribute reportedDate. It is not present by default in all the S-101 features but only to some of them. In the current draft version of S-401, reportedDate has been used to encode SORDAT for all the features with that attribute in Ed2.5.

The definition of reportedDate is : "The date that the item was observed, done, or investigated."

There is another attribute that might be used for SORIND in S-401: sourceDate ("The production date of the source; for example the date of measurement.")

Are we using in S-401 reportedDate or sourceDate to encode SORIND? -> If we are using sourceDate -> when reportedDate is present in the S-101 feature, should we also add sourceDate? Is it useful to add reportedDate to any of the inland features?
