Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. This is another new component that will be part of the new GO Risk Module. It doesn't exist as such yet, though some of the info here will be similar to other things already visible/accessible on GO.

Describe the solution you'd like The Crisis Data Bank will contain three kinds of information: 1) information about hazards (location, date, intensity); information about the impacts of those hazards (corresponding to fields in the Early Warning Field Reports and Emergency/DREF Appeals); and information about IFRC and National Societies' responses to those events/crises.

Describe alternatives you've considered This doesn't exist yet, but we need to build it.

Additional context It will draw upon existing data from IFRC and National Societies, as well as other databases.

Where does the data come from and how is it maintained? Data will come from a variety of sources within and outside of the IFRC network. Some of it will be exchanged in an automated manner; some of it will be manually entered; manual data entry will also entail validating/correcting pre-populated fields.

Should there be any restrictions around viewing or updating information related to this feature The first two kinds of data -- data on natural hazard events and their impacts -- should be available to everyone; the third element (data on IFRC and National Societies' responses to the crises) may be private in some cases, so users will need to be able to mark it "private".

Links to documentation Here is the link to the Concept Note. I will continuously update this as more information becomes available. IM System v 2

@justinginnetti is there a specific action required on this ticket, or should it be closed as superceded?
