The idea of this repository is to bring together logos the Movement, national societies and partners. Suggest folder structure:

.
+-- national-societies/
| +-- USA - American Red Cross/
| | +-- README.md
| | +-- ...
+-- ifrc/
| +-- README.md
| +-- ifrc-logo-description.png
+-- icrc/
+-- other-organisations/
| +-- shelter-cluster
| | +-- README.md
| | +-- ...
| +-- missing-maps
| +-- humanitarian-osm-team

Maybe for clusters it'd be better to have a common folder 'clusters' for common images and then, within that one, one per cluster when need be? So to follow your example: +-- other-organisations/ | +-- clusters | | + shelter-cluster

+1 for the meta data

Depending on the audience/users for this directory, might be nice to have separate folders under NSs for the IFRC regions, as 190 folders if the person doesn't know iso codes is going to be difficult to find what they're looking for. Also, see my somewhat random collection in Dropbox for once you settle on a structure

@ryales - The folders by regions would add an extra layer of complexity. And there's always the chance that the concept of regions changes or the division of countries changes. GitHub has good search functionality, and combined with the national society readme files, finding a society should be easy. I've added instructions to the repository readme https://github.com/IFRCGo/logos#finding-a-logo

@danbjoseph Sounds good. I think the readme is great. Wouldn't be my last day on IFRC contract if I didn't suggest a hierarchical solution where it isn't needed :)
