@Karen-Intel I tested this on 4578 with no luck.

I also tested the previously working version with DXVK 2.2 and that reproduces the crash. I believe the drivers are utilizing an implementation of the DXVK translation layer to help with performance in older games and am wondering if in the newer drivers this could be where the issue is stemming from. Is it possible for me to disable any DXVK translation in order to test?

Just retested with the 4669 driver (had to install it manually, the installer for 4644 and 4669 always crashes), and the game now works 🥳 I don't know whether this fix was driver-side or game-side (I'd guess both), but please pass along a massive thank you to all involved @Karen-Intel, and also thank you for putting up with us!
