Description and steps to reproduce [Required]

image As I understand it, there is a conflict between the IGCC settings and the Intel Arc control. I used the saturation setting in IGCC and everything worked well, but with the latest driver, when it introduced the functionality of a separate color adjustment, a strange bug happened. When the OS loads, the picture is as it should be for a few seconds, and as soon as Intel Arc Control appears in the tray, it becomes the same as without adjusting the saturation. At the same time, in IGCC the slider is also at 100%. If you move it, the colors become saturated again and everything is in order, until the next restart.

If you remove Intel Arc Control, then the problem disappears, but I would like a different solution to the problem...

Noobachyo commented 1 year ago

Ok, you can remove the arc control from startup, but when you run it on its own, it immediately changes colors. Why do you have different settings in the utilities that interrupt each other?

Karen-Intel commented 1 year ago

@Noobachyo can you share your Graphics Command Center Version? Also, have you tried changing saturation settings though ARC Control? I have tested it and sometimes the saturation slider doesn't work so I will be reporting that I will include the detail that you found with ARC Control too :) I will also ask why IGCC moves back to defaults when we open ARC Control

image Downloaded a couple of days ago from the Microsoft Store. Yes, I tried, but there is simply no identical setting. It is impossible to get exactly the same result as in IGCC.

Hey @Noobachyo I have with the latest Beta driver v.4576 and looks like the saturation is working fine with ARC Control :)

Can you check the following vid? If there's anything that I'm missing let me know

It's hard to see on the phone's camera, but this is the only way to show the color change, OBS won't show it. The driver is the last one, I showed it on the video https://drive.google.com/file/d/1T40Am1mIln9DTEJk_Q5S65qrGD_6pOx7/view?usp=sharing

Ohhh got it, I was in the video section, not in Display Now I see what you see. Allow me to report this internally as this conflict should not occur Can you share your display specs? Just to add them to my report. I will provide updates on this thread as soon as I get any news Thank you for your thorough follow up on this, talk to you soon

Hi @Noobachyo hope you're doing well! After thorough review of this case it is a candidate for a fix in the future. Unfortunately we don't have estimate time but if situation changes, we will make sure to post an update in our support article for this case. As always, we appreciate all your help and this report will absolutely make a difference for both ARC Control and IGCC's performance, along with other reports we've got in this forum.

@IGCIT could you help us close this one? Updates will be done through our support article :)
