Standalone driver #32

I was wondering if it is possible to compile one of the drivers included in Kismac to work standalone? I specifically would like to install the USB Ralink RT2570 driver for system-wide use. It seems it is currently built within the application binary and therefore only Kismac can utilize the driver. Do you know if it's even possible for the code to be modified for the driver to be built as a kext?

Interesting idea, maybe in future, when I will have a time for this project

It would be interesting if an RTL8187 driver can be created for Yosemite to use this special adapter to connect to a network.
