In the swiss context patients and health care professionals are allowed to update a limited set of metatada of documents. we currently use IHE ITI RMU for that, but we want to expose a light weight FHIR based API.

As a specific project, you can provide this API. It is not clear to me that this is an international profiling need.

Although not explicitly stated in recent discussions with Canadian Infowar and the technicians from the ELGA project in Austria I understood that they will also move to FHIR based profiles for the common use cases to feed HP data and to modify document metadata.

I can ask them to comment, if 2 additional votes are sufficient.

Kind regards, Martin

In French use cases, we also need to update fields in the documentReference resource. See : https://interop.esante.gouv.fr/ig/fhir/pdsm/st_maj.html
