Does this mean that we need a more friendly html glossary that IHE manages for our use, and have that management simply reflected in SKMT glossary? Thus from a user experience the SMKT is not our primary glossary, but secondary?
@costateixeira you indicated you had a proposal for glossary. Can you provide some introduction to your proposal?
IHE has moved toward use of the Joint Initiative glossary http://www.skmtglossary.org/default.aspx It is not clear to me how html friendly this glossary is.
Given a use of a term in the IHE Technical Framework that really needs linkage to the glossary, When the reader does not understand the term, Then it should be clean and easy for the user to get to the glossary definition.
It is not clear to me how we can hyperlink to a glossary term, there seems to be no way to do this with the SKMT glossary.[MJ] You are correct, currently hyperlinks are not possible. There is a SKMT reboot evaluation underway that, among other things, would provide hyperlinks. If undertaken, this is out in the future for sometime.
It is not clear how we might indicate for the reader that a word being used might be further defined as a glossary term.
also not clear to me the process to keep SKMT glossary up-to-date. {MJ} I do this as part of the publication process.
I do not see a short term solution available. I also don't see this as a critical to fix issue.
