The International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) Audio/Visual (A/V) Technical Specification Group aims to extend to A/V the benefits of interoperability and the growing ecosystem of clients and servers that IIIF provides for images. This repository contains user stories and mockups for interoperable A/V content – contributions are welcome.
If there are multiple video/audio items on a canvas that each have choices with choiceHint=user and matching labels, what is the expected client behavior? #69
For example, if there are labels "High quality" and "Low quality", should a view assume that a single user choice should be used for other items on the canvas? Should this be propagated from canvas to canvas in a manifest if the matching conditions still hold?
Related, should this also apply to choices in the Presentation API for images only? For example, if there are visible light and x-ray choices for multiple pages, should that choice carry through as the user pages through a book?
