JABO Hi-res texture format it not supported, but RICE is. JABO texture support 
would be nice.
I am not sure if this is possible (ex. he will not let you, etc.), but it is 
just a suggestion.

It's currently impossible. Jabo's video plugin is not open source. It's not 
documented, how Hi-res textures support works in this plugin.
