Texture Enhancement Crash & Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time Completion Bugs #294

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Modifying 'Filter' under [Texture Enhancement]
2. Modifying 'Enhancement' under [Texture Enhancement]
3. Completing Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time
4. Striking an enemy on Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time
5. Completing portion of Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time to where
you have to strike the boss one final time.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The expected output is to
be able to use the filter and enhancement functions under the texture
enhancement section. I am also supposed to see words on the completion screen
with a monochrome golden color change upon the completion of the game with zero
deaths. When modifying those two things under texture enhancement, the emulator
crashes which did not happen in the v1.1 of the plug-in. For the completion
screen of 'The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time', I see instead no words at
all and the golden color is at 1/2 opacity making the user still see the
default (normal) colors of that scene.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Project64 1.6/Project64 1.7 ~ Windows XP

Please provide any additional information below.

-there are also artifacts that are sticking out of Ganon's Tower when you
defeat his first form and make it to the bottom of the castle.

-on project64 1.6 only, it freezes when you have to deal the final blow to
Ganon's 2nd form

-enemies do not flash red when hit anymore

From Project64 site? Yeah man, I like the progress that N64 emulation is
getting ;) Just helping out in order to eventually have it perfected.

Please send me (BY EMAIL!) savestates from:
- the completion screen
- Ganon's Tower right before you defeat his first form
- right before you deal the final blow to Ganon's 2nd form

"-enemies do not flash red when hit anymore" - after completing the game,
right? Because enemies do flash red when you are playing for the first time.

Sending file now. I've only tested the flashing red thing while adult. I've
traveled all over the place and they don't flash red for me. I've included my
settings within the emailed file.

I would like to add that in the campfire scene during the credits, the
background fire is layered on top of the foreground fire.
