Would it be possible to manually increase the number of documents the chrome extension and/or Nuxeo source creation function ingests (up to a reasonable limit)? For instance, we have a high-value entity that has double amount of Google hits than the extension permits, we could simply increase the threshold.

This is actually already possible to adjust manually inside the existing Source Manager. I can walk through those instructions with you.
