As a user, I see different # FTE required in SWAT (eg, workload advanced view) than I expect from manual computation of the FTE-Muliplier, Selection Rate, and Potential Work input data. #189

Six workstreams were tested by OPERA to compare SWAT output of #FTE Required with the input data. Three workstream matched within rounding error, and three did not match. AUR (WS2), SC-EXAM(3), and SUB_PROC(16) matched, while FLD_EXAM_TCO(17), FLD_COLL(13), and FLD_EXAM_RA(12) did not match. Excel spreadsheets used to investigate each of these workstreams were loaded today (25 Oct 12) to Basecamp.

I checked Workstream13 and it appears that the data currently loaded comes from a file named "workstream 13-FLD_COLL (STB APR 2012).XLS", while OPERA expects data from the most recent version in Basecamp, named "workstream 13-FLD_COLL.XLS" uploaded on 6 Feb 2012.

The Basecamp version, once loaded into SWAT, should give 57.517 (appx 58) for Job Series 0000. Check by loading Workload Advanced into SWAT, filtering on Job Series=0000. The total number of FTE Required for FLD_COLL should be 58.

Workstream 13 has been updated in the system and the values when filtered by Job Series = 0000 and Workstream = FLD_COLL now calculate to 58. The file that was used was "workstream 13-FLD_COLL.XLS" on Basecamp Uploaded by Jonathan Edelson, 25 Oct 2012

The "workstream 13-FLD_COLL.XLS" has been added to Github for configuration management purposes.

Once this data is validated we will proceed with adding Workstream 12 and 17

Just noticed that Workstream 12 has not been added to Basecamp. Proceeding with updates to Workstream 17, 2, 3, 16 in that order.

The file that will be used for 12 is workstream_12-FLDEXAM_RA.xls posted to Basecamp on 6 Feb 2012

Workstreams 2 and 3 are good as they stand in SWAT - no need to re-upload. By my check, the following need to be reloaded: 4,6,8,12,14, 16, 17, and 19. The following are good: 1,2,3,5,7,9,10,11,13,15,18. As to which file should be used for the upload, find the version most recently posted to Basecamp.

Workstream 17 has been updated using "workstream 17-FLDEXAM TCO_validationJL.XLS" on basecamp Uploaded by Jonathan Edelson, 25 Oct 2012.

Corresponding file has also been added to Github for CM purposes.

Waiting for a confirmed list of good workstream files from Jonathan Edelson (emailed 29 Oct 12). Suggest you wait on importing the rest of the files until we have that good list.
