If we are going to host a FOSS conference then I am afraid using proprietary tools is a full no no. We have to FOSS options, which given the situation might not be feasible for us. The other option is to host a general Linux conference with a combination of FOSS and proprietary tools as required.

I don't think there should be any problem in setting up Jitsi + IRC

The other option is to host a general Linux conference with a combination of FOSS and proprietary tools as required.

  • Twitch for main conf stream What are the limitations of the free and the paid versions, how much does it cost , who owns the data , can we download the recording and move it around

  • Jitsi for QA sessions with the speakers
