Our 1.x sync from Tshikaji to Dropbox is currently broken because the files (at the end of 2016) are around ~115MB. We can expect that the present files are likely closer to ~130MB.
There are a number of solutions for this:
Change providers and no longer use dropbox. Something like BackBlaze B2 is cheaper for file storage than any other (non-free) provider.
Change our compression algorithm to be more aggressive. This has impact on server performance and will only be a stop-gap. Plus there are queued backups from December that will not be affected.
