Please add support for Croatian language (hr)!

We can only add support for languages that we speak ourselves. However, the texts are freely available in a large number of languages already and you are free to send us a translation to the Croatian language. This is how most of the other translations have been done: Volunteers from around the worlds translated the English or German originals into their own language. It is a big community effort.

While we can not assist in the translation itself, we are happy to help with typesetting and other technical issues.

I have used GitHub and I uploaded translations for croatian language on a branch called Croatian-translation. Is this OK? I have forgotten to add some packages for croatian language, was that necessary?

If followed the guide in the README.md, it should be OK. Can you point me to the files you uploaded? I can't find them on your account.

Well, notifications@github.com is the address of the auto-mailer that sends out mails about messages posted at GitHub. It seems that you are entirely unfamiliar with GitHub and git in general, so maybe it is easier if you just upload a ZIP file with the translation somewhere (DropBox, Google Driver, ...). I will pick it up and add it to our repository after testing it out.

Today, I finally had the time to look at your work. I had a couple of minor issues compiling the LaTeX files, but nothing to worry about. I uploaded my changes and the fixes to https://github.com/IMAGINARY/SURFER-Galleries/tree/hr-translation. Please grab the latest ZIP file (https://github.com/IMAGINARY/SURFER-Galleries/archive/hr-translation.zip) and proof read the material again. There are a couple of minor changes that are necessary:

• Some of the page titles have not been translated. Please check all the \begin{surferPage}{} commands. If you put the Croatian title in parentheses next to the English title, please remove the English version and the parentheses, e.g. English title (Croatian title) -> Croatian title.
• The \begin{surferPage}[]{} has an optional parameter (in the []). The value you put there will be used in the SURFER program to label the icon in the gallery. There is only one line of space with about 20 characters. Please check for all page titles, if you need to supply a shorter name in the square brackets [].
• In the source file of each introduction page (*_intro.tex), there is the \begin{surferIntroPage}{Gallery label}{fantasy_kolibri}{Intro page title} command. Please also check these translations. For the Gallery label, there are about 24 characters of space in the program.
• The file fantasy/hr/fantasy_suess.tex contains a poem of Ringelnatz. If possible, try to find some kind of official translation of the poem, if you haven't already done so. The poem is called "Liebesbrief" in German. If there is no official translation or you can't find one, it is OK to use your custom translation.
• Please ask a colleague or a friend to proof read the translation, if you haven't already done so (obviously, I can't check it since I don't speak Croatian). Also double check punctuation.

This should be all for the gallery translation. In order to add the Croation language to the program, I need a couple of additional translations of labels in the program (please translate the right hand side):

You can check the available space in SURFER itself, but usually.
