At APL, we will use this as a starting point for the Nov 18th meeting. We have decided to match the ICD with the capabilities of the ground stations. Since Kiel (Germany) is the only ground station, we will begin with that as our first report.
Create a Confluence Page:
Create a Confluence page for this report as a child page under I-ALiRT Program Deliverables to maintain alignment with other project documentation.
Ensure the Confluence page is structured to allow easy updates and future revisions as more ground stations are added or requirements evolve. Feel to re-organize the page as you see fit.
Review the ICD:
Read over the current version of the ICD (attached) to familiarize yourself with the requirements. 171240revB IMAP SOC I-ALiRT ICD.docx
Matrix Creation:
Develop a matrix to compare the ICD requirements with the technical capabilities of the Kiel ground station. The matrix will help us systematically verify, inspect, and validate each capability.
Include the following columns in the matrix:
Requirement: Brief description of each ICD requirement.
Ground Station Capability: Corresponding capability or parameter in the Kiel ground station.
Verification Method: Specify if the requirement can be met through inspection, analysis, testing, or other verification methods.
Compliance Status: Indicate if the ground station meets, exceeds, or requires further adjustments to meet the requirement.
I have not extensively researched the best matrix format for this so it is up to you for that.
