In the current main branch of the FDM, all locations use implicit time step and go thorugh the meltwater scheme. This makes sense for Greenland, where melt can happen everywhere, but might not make sense for Antarctica, which stays mostly dry. The implicit runs take 4x as long as the explicit runs in randomly selected locations in Antarctic interior. Could keep the scheme for Antarctica, or just change the timestep for Antarctica. Need to decide.
