Potential Bug in DAS with curved detection geometries? #129

I have encountered this difference between time reversal and backprojection using default reconstruction settings: This seems to be independent of applying a hilbert transform at any stage of the reconstruction process.

Backprojection result: image

Time reversal result: image

The simulated time series data does not seem to contain different signal strengths... Any immediate ideas?

My first idea would be to check whether each detector element was used for the reconstruction. The upper part of the reconstructed initial pressure does not seem to be reconstructed at all. So maybe the detector elements that were located there are for some reason not used for the reconstruction?
