how did you get my token?

I got a message from discord saying one of my bots tokens have been posted on the internet. To be honest I don't know what this token is and what it does but how do I prevent this from happening? my bot is a music bot which does what is says (provides music)

You posted your token publicly on the internet yourself. This can happen if you use a service that hosts code for you and you don't use environment variables @DeadManDeano
