Several improvements to the Projection element syntax were discussed and agreed upon at the meeting in Antwerp but postponed until version 2.0.

Instead of the delay being specified by a Delay element with the Projection, delays would become a properties of PortConnection objects
Response and Plasticity elements were to be combined into a single element Synapse, which could then have independent response and plasticity elements as subcomponents (assuming #4 is accepted for v2.0)

A benefit of combing the Response and Plasticity into Synapse would be to be able to "package" the two together in case that you had some more complicated properties of the response you wanted to modulate
