Content: Is the research question well designed and is the data being used relevant to the research question?
I like the question, but it seems the data was maybe understood wrong. The only reason I think this is because I reserached the same data set. From what I can tell from the data set, Mr. Trash Wheel is 1/4 of the trashwheels being analyzed in both of the visualizations.
If the question was changed to: "what is the distribution of trash collected by trash wheels in 2023?" This would be perfect.
Content: Did the team use appropriate visualizations and did they interpret them accurately?
I believe the visualizations were very good and were interpreted accurately providing some useful information.
I think the first visualization was an extremely good way of portraying the information, it was very easy to understand.
Creativity and Critical Thought: Is the project carefully thought out? Are the limitations carefully considered? Does it appear that time and effort went into the planning and implementation of the project?
I believe the project was thought out very well, each visualization provides a good amount of information and do not really overlap with each other which I thought was good. Limitations are mentioned at the end when they mentioned that they were not aware of what was going on around the rivers at certain times with high pollution rates, possibly a party of festival or something. It seems to me that time and effort did go into this project.
Slides: Are the slides well organized, readable, not full of text, featuring figures with legible labels, legends, etc.?
The slides were perfect, easy to read and the figured were easy to understand with all labels/legends legible.
Professionalism: How well did the team present? Does the presentation appear to be well practiced? Are they reading off of a script? Did everyone get a chance to say something meaningful about the project?
Overall, I thought the presentation itself was very good, the presentation appears to be well practiced and not read off a script. It was an individual team so only 1 member presented and they did say multiple meaningful things.
