Content: Is the research question well designed and is the data being used relevant to the research question?
Yes, Their motivations and goals are very well designed and correspond with the data appropriately.
Content: Did the team use appropriate visualizations and did they interpret them accurately?
Yes they interpreted the slides correctly and used appropriate visualizations. Every significant moment in history was considered while interpreting, which made all the plots sensible. The visualizations they produced for the Shiny App are robust and provide a variety of contextual plots to explain trends in happiness throughout each country.
Creativity and Critical Thought: Is the project carefully thought out? Are the limitations carefully considered? Does it appear that time and effort went into the planning and implementation of the project?
Yes critical thought is put into the project. They handled the limitations well. Much effort and time has been put into the project. It seems like considerable effort went into creating the Shiny App.
Slides: Are the slides well organized, readable, not full of text, featuring figures with legible labels, legends, etc.?
Yes the slides are well organized. the transition between the app and slides resulted in the presentation being skipped. however, all the content was legible and well put. The app can use a search bar to search for the countries, it would just add to the great implementation. Yet we would like to highlight that we loved how the app was developed flawlessly. Additionally, figures and legends are legible.
Professionalism: How well did the team present? Does the presentation appear to be well practiced? Are they reading off of a script? Did everyone get a chance to say something meaningful about the project?
Yes the team presented perfectly. The team presented equally among speakers. However, the presentation did go over time slightly which is because there are a lot of plots to this Shiny App.
