The geometry of the channel selection widget is inferred from a probe file, not from the data files. This may lead to inconsistencies, either channels exist in the probe file that don't exist in the data file, or channels in the data file don't exist in the data file. In this case, the visualization in the selection widget should acknowledge this fact.
