If she means that she'd like to be able to choose an arbitrary post to be at the top of the homepage, rather than the most-recent post in the "Homepage Top" tag, then that would require us to edit her homepage layout.
Editing the site's homepage layout is currently not possible. The homepage layout is built using the WP Bakery Visual Composer plugin js_composer
, which on staging and localhost does not recognize the shortcode mess in the "Home" page as a WP Bakery layout that the plugin can edit. The plugin is several versions out of date and does not have a valid license key on staging or localhost.
Changing the homepage layout or functionality will require getting the WP Bakery Visual Composer to function.
The plugin as installed is version 5.2.1 from "03.08.2017", probably August 8; the latest version is 6.2. Since then 5.2.1, the plugin has added support for WordPress 4.9 through 5.3, Gutenberg, and PHP 7.2.

Shouldn't they already have this? Is it broken on their site, or is this just a training thing?
