Series landing page for COVID coverage

Requirements:

• Story header photo and description at top
• Sub-series (or categories) for each island nation that lists 2 articles about COVID in that area, with a "read more" button that goes to the landing page for that island's coverage
• Rough mockup
• Mockup shows row of three, but can be the two or three columns, matching the homepage styling

What we need to test:

• From a quick look, it looks like the series landing page may let you add more than one series, or several subseries. Let's test this on staging with some test content and see how it looks.

@MirandaEcho I created two test child series and added them to the existing COVID landing page and it looks like it's pulling in all of the posts I set in those child series, as expected. The only downside is it's not breaking them up by series.

However, another option that might work would be to only select the parent series for the landing page and create a widget area for the footer of the landing page and use the LRP widget set to the child series there, that way it can be distinguished and separate from the parent and other child series posts.

What would an estimate be to create that and style it so that:

• Each has a title and several articles (2-3, flexibly, is ideal) like this:

• There's a button that links to the landing page for each category/subseries with more stories
• Update styling (if possible to do just for this area, and not the whole page) so that it only shows a photo and clickable headline?

@MirandaEcho We can probably accomplish that by setting the landing page to show 0 posts and make it create a bottom widget area which we can then put LRP widgets into to display each individual sub series posts. All of that would take ~15 minutes, but reworking the series landing page to not query posts would take about 2 hours.

We can also set the LRP widgets to not show any excerpts or byline, so the only things that would show would be titles and images, which would take another ~10 minutes.

This is how the LRP widget looks currently on the series page:

We'd need to spend another 1-2 hours styling those posts to show side by side instead of being stacked.
