Update subscribe links on INN.org to Constant contact #165

Closed MirandaEcho closed 4 years ago

MirandaEcho commented 4 years ago

please update all inn.org newsletter subscriptions (including the hardcoded button in the top nav area) to link to https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/su/1nZQ0dc

It looks like the only place is the button in the top nav but @joshdarby it wouldn't hurt to have a second pair of eyes check for other sites. We'll also want to make sure any sub-sites that have it are updated as well.

@MirandaEcho Since this is an update to the live site, do we need approval from Sharene first?

@MirandaEcho Do we need to update these forms?

joshdarby commented 4 years ago

@MirandaEcho The Subscribe button in the header widget on inn.org has been swapped from https://us1.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=81670c9d1b5fbeba1c29f2865&id=19bec3393e to https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/su/1nZQ0dc

Yes to Innovation, if its possible. Where does the hardcoded one in the theme show?

joshdarby commented 4 years ago

@MirandaEcho I should have led with this, but we'll need the form code (what we have is just a link to a signup form) from CC in order to swap out the INNovation and hardcoded one in the INN theme.

The hardcoded one in the INN theme shows on any page using the INN template, but I'm not sure what pages are all using that template.

Got it. Let's roll with just the button for now and I'll find out if we want to replace the embedded form as well. Thanks!

Also this one, which I'm guessing is that same hardcoded one:

Embed codes are here: https://secure.helpscout.net/conversation/1213856192/5823?folderId=2730118

Lets see how it would look on staging first, since Sarah wanted tot keep as much of the existing branding as possible. Are we able to see where else the hardcoded form in the theme is used?

Deployed and configured.
