I understand that we will come up with a list of defined simplification rules that can be used where ever needed in the proces of simplifying dataspecs.
These defined simplification rules are now being developed using for instance Adresses as an example. I had the idea that this would be done by first evaluating the present Adresses uml-schema on complexity and then based on general simplification rules develop a simplified uml-schema. I think this is possible because we already have an understanding how this should look like.
From that simplified uml-scheme considerations of general simplification and encoding rules could be derived. I believe this to be a more practical and less theoretical way then we are doing right now.
Probably both options are posible and will strengthen each other.
