Open trodin opened 1 year ago
Dear @trodin,
As reported in the last 75 MIG-T meeting, the rollout of the revamped INSPIRE Geoportal based on GeoNetwork is approaching.
As part of this rollout the Classic Geoportal harvesting console - and its related tools - were dismissed on Thursday 20 July - From that date onwards all harvesting processes shall be performed using the revamped GeoNetwork console.
Any improvement regarding the accessibility of network services shall be focused on the revamped INSPIRE Geoportal GeoNetwork-based system.
We will keep your issue open in view of resolving it based on the behaviour of the revamped INSPIRE Geoportal (GeoNetwork-based) system, which will (hopefully) be rolled out at the end of September or beginning of October 2023.
Dear @trodin, The accessibility issues will be tackled in the context of #184, and focused on the revamped INSPIRE Geoportal. I will leave this post open to answer your questions above, which are related to a mix of legal requirements and technical matters.
Dear @trodin, I draw your attention to my reply to #184. After having completed the planned updates to the Link-Checker, we will provide you with an answer to your questions above, taking into account the knowledge on the GeoNetwork implementation.
I have noticed that some datasets with linked WFS services that doesn't have Stored Queries are shown as downloadable on Inspire geoportal (icon with arrow down). My question is are predifined Stored Queries with inspire id mandatory? Since according to Specification and Validator they are mandatory. Next, what are conditions that have to be fullfiled in order for Geoportal to display dataset as downloadable (icon download)? If not Stored Query? Next, how exactly the download link is created? When we click on Download Options, Get Data Set (from WFS) we get a GetFeature request, but how the parameters are filled in, with info from GetCapabilities or Metadata or how?
Thank you, Tanja
