Feature request: drop mongo dependency #1

I think this is a great module and many would love to use it. but while Koa isn't too popular with developers compared to express, I think the largest turn-off would have to be MongoDB for something that's potentially lite weight in design, I would rather hook into my own database methods such as firebase database, or my personal favorite NeDB.

if you have no interest in updating this, I would love to take over this project as I work with a firebase community and this would be useful
