The method to approximate the topographic effect by adding the elevation of the observation point to the DEPTH input argument is Williams and Wadge (1998, GRL), which accounts for the effect of varying distance only, not Williams and Wadge (2000, JGR), which accounts for both effects of varying distance and surface slope, right?
