Thanks again for the pull request. emuR is now on Cran again so I can have a look at this.

I absolutely think this should be possible. The current approach has a problem, as I explain in #269. But the problem is not new, so I’ll accept the pull request.

@FredrikKarlssonSpeech Just make sure to be aware of this issue in case your empty sessions have contained bundles before.
