Organization of data #2

I would like to create a new folder for every data set (i.e. for every profile) with a README.md file describing the measuring details etc., the data file(s), any code describing how to use it. You can even supply a data output figure (pnd, pdf) that one can check whether the import works. I would like to create one folder per data set, maybe with subfolders for different profiles, but maybe one representative profile will do for now.

The data files could be 3D layouts but I guess most data will be 2D profiles. I would restrict the IP signals to decays in any number of gates or integrated chargeability in some cases. Unless we have defined a unified format, we can use any human-readable format as long as there is a description or a link to such a one. If somebody transfers it to another format this file can be just added aside.

As main ordering I would use TDIP and FDIP to separate time and frequency domain, in cases both have been measured, one could use something like TDFDIP.

In the main folder, we can collect a bib file (or similar) for collecting the bibliographic information to the underlying data, geological background, ground truth or software.

Any feedback is welcome. Otherwise I would start creating such an example.
