Overview

Tracking issue for GREI Institutional Repository Task Group, tasked with: Document use cases regarding how GREI repositories are utilized as institutional repositories.

Deliverable: Create new use cases catalog entries from all repositories regarding the following areas of work:

As an institution, I use a GREI repository as my institutional repository infrastructure.
As a GREI repository, I offer the following features for institutions to use as their institutional repository.

Status: April 2024

@scolapasta has joined the GREI Institutional Repository Task Force
Task Force had inaugural meeting 17 April for brainstorming GR as IR Use Cases
Determined timeline for next steps and future meetings (next meeting 1 May, with each repository to report on their GR as IR use cases and provide an outline of key attributes for each use case)

Task force met May 1st to review GREI GR as IR Use Case Outlines from each repository
Task force met May 15th and shared and discussed each repository's draft use case(s)
Final Use Case Drafts completed for presentation to CWG on June 5th

Use case drafts presented at June 5 CWG (one of the use case prompts was updated as a result)
