location of presentation #1

almost all slide decks will have info on where the presentation is. I do this now with this theme by hacking the date: \date{\scriptsize University of Michigan, 4/3/1785} Can we do this in a more elegant way?

Putting the location in the date field is the way they do it in the beamer examples, I think it's best to just keep doing that.
