I will look into this, but note that the tseries object is now deprecated. Please use the Series objects instead (mind the capital letter at the beginning). The functionality is exactly the same except that Series is compatible with the new Matlab graphics implementation. The tseries objects are currently maintained for backward compatibility only.

Using Marlab 2019a/b, tseries/plot produces either empty plot or plot with "Not-A-Date" XTick. Thanks
