the plans pdf and STEP sets are incomplete

hello friends,

and a big thank for the challenge to build and further study such interesting machines. my computer runs linux with freecad, so my build will rely entirely on the STEP exports and pdf drawings. however, these sets are not entirely covering the frame parts, and part of the solidworks have not been exported: GoodEnoughCNC-PlasmaCutter/STEP/Nut DIN 934 M8.STEP does not exist!. skipping ... GoodEnoughCNC-PlasmaCutter/STEP/Tightener - Outer.STEP does not exist!. skipping ... GoodEnoughCNC-PlasmaCutter/STEP/Tightener Assembly - M1.STEP does not exist!. skipping ... GoodEnoughCNC-PlasmaCutter/STEP/Tightener Assembly.STEP does not exist!. skipping ... GoodEnoughCNC-PlasmaCutter/STEP/Tightener Assembly - M2.STEP does not exist!. skipping ... GoodEnoughCNC-PlasmaCutter/STEP/Tightener Assembly - M3.STEP does not exist!. skipping ...

i also see no plan for the y beams.

p.s. could i, after building the mechanical part, order the electronic part from you?

Hi Alex,

Thank you for you message. My colleague has checked .step file: GoodEnoughCNC-PlasmaCutter-master\STEP\Plasma Beta.STEP from Github repository in Solidworks 2016 and did not find any errors or missing files. As you can see in attached picture all Tightener sub-assembly files are included.

I’ve uploaded a pdf drawing of Beam Y to GoodEnoughCNC-PlasmaCutter/tree/master/Drawings/Frame/PDF, you can find .dxf file of Beam Y in GoodEnoughCNC-PlasmaCutter-master\Drawings\Frame\DXF.

We offer this machine in kit version only. (Please note that we’re currently upgrading the design of this machine - the new version will be available in April 2017.) The ToslinkCNC can be bought separately.

following your response i found that the solidworks files
Tightener Assembly have step counter parties named Tightener 2 however, i could find no step corresponding file for the "Nut DIN 934 M8" solidworks file.

about the toslinkcnc 3 and 4 kits: do they contain everything electrical except the motors?

ToslinkCNC includes:

• 4 pcs assembled Receiver PCB's
• 1 pc assembled Transmitter PCB / Arduino shield
• 4 pcs Toslink cable 5m

Please check the full Bill of materials to see all the other components you'll need for the assembly.

All the documentation for GoodEnoughCNC will be revised with the new machine coming out in April 2017.
